Chanel Allure Sensuelle Eau de Parfum is a flanker to the iconic Allure, introduced in 2006 and developed by Chanel’s house perfumer Jacques Polge. It’s an oriental floral scent that’s feminine and like it’s name, very sensual, but also quite strong and one of those scents you either love or hate. I find it exquisite and classy and it’s one of my favourite fragrances to wear this time of the year.
Like the charismatic, passionate presence of Gabrielle Chanel, Allure Sensuelle is the modern, magnetic fragrance of a true, radiant and intense woman. The floral-soft-Oriental fragrance is revealed in a unique way on every woman — because each woman has her own special allure.
The Eau de Parfum is luminous and refined with soft, mysterious gourmand accents, built around six facets; oriental, fresh, floral, fruity, woody and spicy. It’s an oriental floral scent that is warm and powdery. It has a magical blend of notes that opens with a blast of mandarin, bergamot, orange and pink pepper. The heart changes the scent slightly with floral notes as vetiver, rose, iris, jasmine and candied fruit. The dry down consist out of amber, golden chain tree, vanilla and patchouli.
It’s a gorgeous scent, very refined and elegant, but it’s hard to describe exactly what Allure Sensuelle smells like. The scent is rich and warm, oriental, spicy and woody, but without being to heavy. Yet it’s a floral and light scent, very sweet and fruity. This perfume is wonderful and complex, but somehow very well blended. It’s Chanel on its finest. A little goes a long way, just a couple of sprays will last all night. This is a perfume that is very nice to wear during the colder winter months, and perfect for any night out. Chanel Allure Sensuelle Eau de Parfum is available in a wonderful bottle that screams luxury in 35, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. O.a. verkrijgbaar bij bol.com
